Frequently Asked Questions

What age groups do you offer for girls' volleyball?

We provide competitive and developmental programs for home-educated junior high and high school girls.

The Junior High program is for girls in 7th and 8th grade, ages 12-14. Sixth graders, who are at least 12 years old, may be invited to play in the Junior High program as determined by the coaches.

The High School program is for girls in 9th-12th grades, ages 15-18. Younger girls may be invited to play in the High School program as determined by the coaches, but it is the choice of the parents whether to accept or not.

What is the typical time commitment for a Cougar season?

The main season runs August through October. Teams practice twice a week, with tournaments throughout. The teams never practice or compete on Sundays.

How are Christian values integrated into the experience?

Faith is our foundation. We begin with prayer, hold team devotions, and focus on building Christ-like character—integrity, humility, and kindness on and off the court.

What are the clinic and season registration fees?

As a non-profit, we keep costs accessible.

2026 Girls High School fees are $525 and Junior High fees are $425.

2026 Boys High School fees are $425.

Please note these fees are approximate and may vary with each particular team and season. Player fees help pay for practice courts, equipment and tournament fees.

Are there fundraising opportunities to help offset costs?

Yes, we offer various fundraising and sponsorship initiatives. These allow families to raise funds applied directly toward clinic and registration expenses.

Where do Lincoln Cougars practice?

Most practices are held at Kinetic Sports Complex in Lincoln. The facility provides professional-grade courts for all team levels.
